X-Win32 Licensing Options
X-Win32 offers two license types for X-Win32: Node-Locked or Concurrent (Floating).
Node-Locked Single Licenses
These licenses require a one-time online registration. The license is tied to the PC hardware, usually the serial number of the Ethernet card. Node-locked licenses are shipped standard on purchases of single licenses.
Each license comes with 3 registrations, one for the initial registration and two for back up computers.
Concurrent (Floating) Network Licenses
StarNet's concurrent network licenses do not require a dedicated license server or online registration. The license is built into the X server and is self-monitoring. For example, if you purchase a 5-user license, you can install X-Win32 on 6 or more systems with up to 5 users who can run X-Win32 at one time.
Concurrent licenses are also required for installation of X-Win32 on Windows Terminal or Citrix servers.
X-Win32 FLASH, LinuxLIVE & Recon-X
Only node-locked licenses are available for the X-Win32 FLASH, LinuxLIVE and Recon-X products.
